A beautiful partnership

What torture you reap Mr. Garavani. By di rigueur you force me to a life of eating canned Tesco tuna for the unforeseeable future.

Just when the excitement of the Lanvin for H&M settled, Valentino goes and rains-no, storms all over Lanvin's hitherto headlining parade with a Gap collaboration to mark the high-street store's arrival to Italy.

The diffusion of these two celebrated fashion messiahs has bred seven articles, creating couture looks with a contemporary attitude.

Brimming with military-inspired garb, as well as Valentino's signature ruffles and bows, the unique silhouettes and fabrics of this collection with an over-arching Olive trend  are true to the Italian's feminine mantra.

Most coveted are creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli's reinventions of the parka, with three-dimensional ruffles and a choice of varied lengths.

Other garments include a tiered skirt, cargo trousers with frilled pockets and a powdery grey bow t-shirt.

The limited edition Valentino for Gap will be available this Saturday, November 27 at Gap's flagship store in Oxford Street from 9.30am, and at Dover Street Market from 11am.

So get pitching those tents on Friday troops, it's going to be a long but well-worthy wait.

4D apology

I'm a neglector.  Work is stacking up and I'm struggling to pull my hermit limbs from under the crispy brown-papered dishevelled broadcasting books.

But I unearthed this beaut from the popstore, courtesy of procrastination. It takes fashion shows to a new level.

The Resurrection

Yesterday Topshop honoured a final farewell to their paramount collaborator Kate Moss as she revealed her final collection for the quintessentially dapper British brand.

Her latest capsule line sees the revival of her greatest Topshop hits as part of her 'Iconic' collection.

That pansy dress from her first collection which sold out in seconds and currently sells on eBay for about £120, along with the red poppy and panther claw dresses, comprise a measly fraction of the resurectees.

Pansy dress, £60
The asymmetrical one-shouldered dress worn by Irina Lazareanu and Kate Bosworth  is also back in black.

These beautifully crafted articles will be making their debut on my Christmas/ essential purchases list this year.

Paisley Godet Dress, £80
Velvet and lace shorts, £60
Fringe embellished shift dress, £120

Dreamy...

The wait is almost over.

12 days after revealing a sneaky peek at the Lanvin for H&M line, I can treat you all to the mirthfully pop-arty, yet envy inducing video look-book for the-even better than anticipated- collaboration.

Vivacious cocktail dresses with a pallet of colours fancified with gemstones, celestial wooden heeled patent shoes and a prolific use of ribbons- want, want, want.

The line hits stores November 23. Let the countdown reconvene...
