I own two pairs of jeans and they haven't seen daylight since winter. I find jeans can be creatively constraining and, in times of park lolling, constraining for when those impulses to cartwheel kick in. But these jeans, with their bold hues, inject drama into man's longtime, loyal staple. The rusty pink MOTO Jamie jeans (1.) are at the top of my "Must.Want.Need" list and there is something suitably summery about the lustrous cropped styles. Perhaps these fresh designs will prompt a leg dressing overhaul.

Ding dong:

Tis the season to be sappy, eat chocolate cake, drink champagne all day and shimmy to cheesy ABBA songs with relatives you haven’t seen in years. But never have I searched so far and wide to seek a dress for a wedding, which by the by, won't be the one held at Westminster Abbey tomorrow and watched by billions.  

The all-too familiar panic of being ill-equipped in the sartorial department for a special occasion is not conducive to fruitful shopping. But two trips to Sheffield town, a trip to Uxbridge, four hours in Windsor and weeks trawling the web later and I have a dress - hazar. 

This embellished gem shift dress was a breath of fresh air to my shopping meltdown. I picked up this nude Topshop dress several times before sampling it and mustering up the courage to fork out the £60 - desperate times indeed. 

But the added appeal of this garb is its longevity - it can easily be adapted to more casual soirees teamed with tanned leather sandals, floppy hats and wicker bags. For the wedding though, I will be teaming the dress with my aforementioned Autograph retro blocked heels.

Friday fancies

It is uncanny. These splendours were surely separated at birth, surely?

I have lusted over this Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony leopard jumper since it was released 11 long months ago and it remains bookmarked today.

So when the gospel Topshop released this plain as the nose on your face emulation, my feet started to twitch.

I have been toying with making a purchase for an age; holding it up against me for an unhealthy length of time, putting it back on the rack, trying it on, putting it back on the rack, holding it up against me again, then putting it on the rack.

But to witness a carefree shopper waltzing up to said rack then hop scotching to the till is, naturally, a tad heart-wrenching.

So what is the abhorrently unprecedented force wedged between me and my coveted purchase? A mere stack of 4600 pennies of course.

Cheers Phillip Green for menacingly conjuring the desirable slightly less desirable and yes, take that Mr, I went there, I dropped the "Sir".

Yesterday Topshop honoured a final farewell to their paramount collaborator Kate Moss as she revealed her final collection for the quintessentially dapper British brand.

Her latest capsule line sees the revival of her greatest Topshop hits as part of her 'Iconic' collection. 

That pansy dress from her first collection which sold out in seconds and currently sells on eBay for about £120, along with the red poppy and panther claw dresses, comprise a measly fraction of the resurectees.

These beautifully crafted articles will be making their debut on my Christmas/ essential purchases list this year.

Wearing this will be like hugging a polar bear all day. It reminds me of the copious amounts of perfect knitwear emblazoned on our screens during The Edge of Love.

This Topshop dress sold out months ago so I have been searching ebay for my size. The skewed polkadot swirls are distractingly rad. 

I don't own a single pair of comfortable shoes and with Bestival  growing more imminent, I need to get my hands on some Superga's in Ecru.
