David Longshaw

He is outrageously talented and is sparking a colossal fashion buzz, hitting numerous designer "ones-to-watch lists" at the likes of ELLE and the Guardian Newspaper.

Longshaw encapsulates his design structures as "complicated and feminine". His impressive repertoire of skills include story writer, gifted illustrator, fashion design graduate from Central Saint Martin and has a comfy MA at the Royal College of Art under his belt.

"Escaping Emily sketch"
The collection was inspired by a short illustrated story called Escaping Emily. He created it specially for the collection and said it is about "a rather disturbed fashion designer called Emily who discovers an abandoned puppet."

Lorraine Candy (Editor-In-Chief ELLE magazine) announced David Longshaw as the winner of the inaugural British Fashion Council/ELLE - Talent Launch Pad.
